Heart for the House

Making Room for the Harvest

Our Mission

Preparing for the
Harvest

For over seven decades, God has been speaking to RockPoint Church about what He wants to do here. We’ve heard His voice through prophetic words, seen His faithfulness through seasons of growth, and now we’re responding to His call to build.

This isn’t about bricks and mortar—it’s about making room for the people God is bringing. It’s about having a facility that can host the revival we’ve been promised, disciple the harvest that’s coming, and equip the next generation to carry the fire forward.

Through “Heart for the House,” we’re not just building a structure. We’re building a legacy of faith for generations to come.

Our Story

A History of Faithfulness

RockPoint Church was founded with a heart to reach the lost and grow followers of Jesus Christ. What began as Gospel Chapel in 1952 has become a thriving Spirit-filled community focused on revival, renewal, and transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In our early years, we experienced an unusual move of God—a church of 50 members had a youth group of over 100! Pastor Karyn, who now serves on our leadership team, came out of that season. We’ve always been a church that punches above its weight, believing God for the impossible.

We are well-established as a community that equips leaders in faith and compassion, with a rich history of answered prayers and God’s faithfulness through every season.

The Vision

Building for the Future

We are entering an exciting season where God is calling us to expand our facilities to accommodate the growth He is bringing. This new building will serve as a hub for ministry—a place where people encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and are sent out to impact their communities.

This multi-purpose facility will be more than a worship center. From the beginning, Pastor LeeRoy Jaquith felt it was important that any new building would not just provide more space for the congregation but would also accommodate ministry to youth and families—the very ministries that birthed so much fruit in our early years.

What We’re Building For

The Next Generation

Prophetic Words

What God Has Spoken

We are a church that listens for God’s voice and takes Him at His word. Over the decades, the Lord has spoken clearly about what He wants to do at RockPoint. These prophetic words have guided our steps and confirmed our vision.

“The new building about to be built would be too big, but then it would be full and we’d have to go to another new building… He said we would grow like a snail, growing slowly right out of its shell. The number 400 is significant for us to hit to know it’s time to build.

Mike Heron · 1985

“There’s a harvest coming… Harvest requires M-O-N-E-Y, not to reach the harvest but to disciple the harvest, to care for the harvest, to make room for the harvest with more services… I see even in this room easily three or four services.

Prophetic Word · 2018

“God is saying, ‘You’ve got 58% of your inheritance to take yet here.’ God is going to open up doors like you’ve never seen before… Everything you need to grow is already here in the house. God has put the provision here.

From Joshua 18 · 2019

“That wall needs to go down. The front row of chairs needs to be about where that wall is… I’m just trying to give you a holy push!

Prophetic Word · 2017

“God showed me that you’re about to lose some people, but it’s good. Like a tithe. You’re sending them out, but God’s bringing more in… Your church is in a defining moment.

A Message from Our Leadership

We are so thankful for your generous support of our Heart for the House vision. Because you have joined your hearts to ours, we have become partners in seeing a powerful move of God that will bring many into an encounter with the love of Jesus. That’s the bottom line—people knowing the love of God.

From the deepest place in our hearts, we say thank you! The mandate on our church is to arise and build this multi-purpose facility, which will enable us to host an ever-increasing harvest and continue building into the hearts of future generations. This is an exciting time for RockPoint as we respond to God’s call to prepare the way. We’re honored to be on this journey with you.

Many Blessings,
Pastor Jeff & Karyn Wells
